Nandita Sarkar, Dhubri, January 18, 2024 – In a grand celebration marking the inauguration of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the consecration of Shri Ram Lala, the holy Kalash Yatra took place in Dhubri town, commencing from Paulpara. The procession, comprising hundreds of participants of all ages and genders, embarked on a sacred journey through the town.
The highlight of the Kalash Yatra was the collection of water from the Brahmaputra River, infusing each kalash with the sacred essence. The rally traversed the entire town, symbolizing a collective spiritual journey. A total of 150 kalashes were filled with the holy water.
These consecrated kalashes will be reverently sent to the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, contributing to the historic and sacred occasion. The event brought together the community in a vibrant display of faith and devotion, emphasizing the cultural significance of the Shri Ram Temple’s inauguration.
