Assam Police and BSF Apprehend Two Bangladeshi Infiltrators, Push Them Back Across Border
Desk Report, September 23, 2024: In a prompt and coordinated action, the Assam Police and Border Security Force (BSF) successfully apprehended two illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators in separate incidents. The individuals, identified as Al Mamon and Anowar Hussain, were intercepted during their illegal entry attempts into Assam.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to border security, both suspects were immediately pushed back to Bangladesh, ensuring the nation’s safety and integrity. This swift action highlights Assam’s dedication to preventing illegal infiltration and maintaining a secure border.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared this achievement on his microblogging platform ‘X,’ formerly known as Twitter. He praised the security forces by stating, “Good job Team!” This acknowledgment reflects the Assam Government’s support for the tireless efforts of the Assam Police and BSF in safeguarding the region.
