Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Distributes 300 Appointment Letters Across Key Departments
Guwahati, September 26, 2024: Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed 300 appointment letters today across three key departments. The Public Health Technical Department, Department of Housing and Urban Affairs, and Directorate of Forensic Sciences received new recruits as part of the Assam Government’s job commitment. This initiative aligns with the state’s promise to offer employment opportunities to the youth.
In line with the commitment to provide 1 lakh jobs, the Assam Government has now surpassed this target. Remarkably, the state achieved 1.25 lakh appointments based on merit and transparency. The recruitment process ensured fairness, reflecting the government’s dedication to a corruption-free system.
The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the selected candidates. He emphasized that the government remains focused on providing employment opportunities and maintaining transparent recruitment practices.
