16th Finance Commission Delegation Visits Assam, Meets CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma for Key Discussions
Guwahati, September 26, 2024: A delegation from the 16th Finance Commission, led by Chairman Arvind Panagariya, visited Assam to engage in discussions. Before the formal meeting, the delegation met with Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at his office today. The Chief Minister warmly welcomed them, initiating talks on various important matters.
The meeting included members of the 16th Finance Commission, the Assam government, and was chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. Alongside the Chief Minister, the Cabinet and senior officials of the Assam Government actively participated in the discussions.
