STF Seizes Suspected Heroin in Khanapara Raid
Guwahati, May 31, 2024: In a decisive operation, a Special Task Force (STF) team, under the leadership of Inspector Kapil Pathak, conducted a successful raid in the Khanapara area, falling under the jurisdiction of the Basistha Police Station. The operation resulted in the apprehension of two individuals suspected of drug peddling.
During the raid, the STF team seized 63 vials containing approximately 83.5 grams of a substance believed to be heroin. In addition to the narcotics, STF officials also seized a substantial amount of cash and several mobile handsets.
Inspector Kapil Pathak, who spearheaded the operation, emphasized the importance of such actions in the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the region. The apprehended individuals are currently under investigation, and further details are expected to be disclosed following the conclusion of preliminary interrogations.
