The daring operation, fueled by intelligence from Axis Bank Morigaon branch, unfolded across Moirabari and Lahorighat, exposing a web of criminal masterminds engaged in a multi-crore financial fraud scheme.
Under the leadership of the fearless Superintendent of Police, the 11-member police team executed a series of lightning raids, bringing cyber thugs like Moklesur Ahmed, Musafer Ali, and their cohorts to justice. The arrests were linked to a sensational plot involving the siphoning of over Rs 10 crore through Rupay credit cards, orchestrated by a cunning gang using fake PAN cards.
