Dhubri Police Detain 55-Year-Old Man for Alleged Molestation of Minor Girl
Dhubri, September 25, 2024: Dhubri police have detained a 55-year-old man, Minar Uddin Haque, on charges of allegedly molesting a minor girl in the A M Co. Road of Dhubri town.
The incident came to light when the victim’s mother reported that Haque, a resident of A M Co. Road, had been making inappropriate advances towards her daughter. The young girl had complained of chest pain, prompting her to disclose the incident to her mother.
Upon receiving this information, the victim’s mother confronted Haque and promptly notified family members and neighbors. Local residents detained Haque until police arrived at the scene.
Dhubri police have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the allegations. Medical examinations of the victim are currently underway, and authorities are gathering evidence to build a case. Witnesses are also being questioned to establish the details surrounding the alleged crime.
