Assam Police Push Back 17 Bangladeshi Infiltrators Including Children at India-Bangladesh Border
Guwahati: In a resolute measure against cross-border infiltration, Assam Police successfully pushed back 17 Bangladeshi nationals, including 9 adults and 8 children, across the India-Bangladesh border in the early hours today. The operation, executed with precision and determination, reflects Assam’s firm stance on preventing illegal entry into the country.
The adults identified were Harul Lamin, Umai Khunsum, Md. Ismail, Sansida Begum, Rufiya Begum, Fatima Khatun, Mojur Rahman, Habi Ullah, and Sobika Begum. These individuals were intercepted and subsequently escorted back to their country, ensuring they did not violate Indian territory.
The Assam Police acted swiftly upon receiving intelligence reports about the presence of these Bangladeshi nationals attempting to cross the border illegally. With the help of vigilant personnel, the authorities effectively prevented the entry of these infiltrators, safeguarding the integrity and security of the nation.
The 8 children accompanying the adults were also returned safely to Bangladesh, ensuring that no harm befell them during the operation.
