STF Raids Dispur Guest House, Seizes Heroin and Arrests Suspects
Guwahati, May 28, 2024: The Special Task Force (STF) raided the Dispur Guest House in Ganeshguri, targeting drug trafficking activities. The operation, led by Additional Superintendent of Police (STF) Kalyan Pathak, was based on credible intelligence.
The raid, meticulously planned, resulted in the arrest of four individuals suspected of drug peddling. Authorities seized a significant quantity of illicit substances, including 14 soap boxes containing approximately 196 grams of heroin.
This operation marks a substantial victory in the fight against drug trafficking in the region. The arrests and heroin seizure highlight the STF’s dedication to maintaining law and order, and protecting communities from the dangers of narcotics.
