Tragic Blaze Engulfs Homes in Morigaon Kalmoubari
Moirgaon, March 06, 2024: In a devastating incident, a massive fire erupted in the quiet village of Kalmoubari, situated under the jurisdiction of Mikirbheta police station in Morigaon district. The blaze, which broke out at the residence of Dhon Ali, also known as Nekibur Rahman, and Johirul Islam, resulted in the complete destruction of both houses, leaving the two families in utter despair.
The precise cause of the fire is yet to be determined, adding a layer of uncertainty to the unfortunate incident. Local sources revealed that as soon as the fire was noticed, residents promptly reached out to the Revenue Circle officer. Subsequently, the official mobilized efforts to seek assistance, contacting the fire brigade to combat the rapidly escalating flames.

Despite the swift response of the fire brigade, their arrival at the scene was unable to prevent the tragic loss, as both houses were already engulfed in the inferno. The intensity of the fire not only consumed the homes but also resulted in the complete destruction of properties amounting to several lakhs of rupees.
The affected families, now left grappling with the aftermath, find themselves in a state of darkness, their modest abodes reduced to ashes.
