Manipur Police Detains Individual in Possession of 548 Grams of Suspected Heroin
Desk, April 04, 2024: In a significant operation on April 03, the Manipur Police apprehended Moijingmayum Rafik Khan, commonly known as Apikcha, aged 39, from Lilong Chingkham in Thoubal District.
Upon searching Khan’s possession, the police recovered a substantial quantity of suspected heroin, weighing approximately 548 grams, believed to be brown sugar. This seizure underscores the ongoing efforts of Manipur Police to curb the illicit drug trade in the region.

Moijingmayum Rafik Khan Alias Apikcha is currently in police custody, and a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
