BJP Appoints New State In-Charges: Harish Dwivedi to Lead Assam
Desk Report, July 26, 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed former Lok Sabha MP Harish Dwivedi as the party’s in-charge for Assam. This announcement, made by BJP National President JP Nadda, highlights the reshuffling of responsibilities within the party.
In Rajasthan, Rajya Sabha member and National General Secretary Radha Mohan Das Agrawal will oversee the party’s activities. For Tamil Nadu, national secretary Arvind Menon and former MP Rajdeep Roy have been designated as the in-charges. Additionally, Vijaya Rahatkar, the former chief of BJP’s women wing, will co-manage organizational matters in Rajasthan with Sudhakar Reddy in Tamil Nadu.
Other appointments include Atul Garg as the MP in-charge of Chandigarh and Arvind Menon as the in-charge for Lakshadweep. These strategic assignments reflect the BJP’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its organizational structure across various states.
