Assam STF Busts Drug Smuggling Operation in Guwahati, Seizes Heroin and Apprehends Three Individuals
Guwahati, June 04, 2024: In Guwahati on June 03 night, the Assam Special Task Force (STF), led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Satyendra Singh Hazari, conducted a successful drug raid. They apprehended three individuals involved in smuggling heroin.
During the operation, the team seized 88 grams of heroin packed in eight soap boxes. Along with the heroin, other related items were also confiscated. This operation is a significant step in the STF’s ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region.
The swift action by the STF highlights their commitment to tackling the drug menace. The arrested individuals are currently in custody, and further investigations are underway.
