Govt. of Assam Extends Deadline for Employment Exchange Re-Registration to December 31, 2024
Guwahati, August 14, 2024: The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Assam, has issued an important reminder for candidates registered in the state’s employment exchanges before January 2, 2024. They must re-register through the Sewa Setu portal by December 31, 2024.
This extension gives candidates more time to update their profiles, which can enhance access to job opportunities across Assam. The re-registration process is straightforward and can be completed online via the Sewa Setu portal (sewasetu.assam.gov.in).
Steps to Re-Register:
1. Visit the Sewa Setu Portal (http://sewasetu.assam.gov.in).
2. Click on the “Employment” symbol on the homepage.
3. Re-register your employment seeker card with the Employment Exchange.
4. Choose one of the following options:
– Apply with Aadhaar (recommended).
– Apply without Aadhaar (for those with Aadhaar blocked due to NRC issues).
